Specialist training in the management of bone and mineral diseases is an expanding field with clinical significance across numerous disciplines including endocrinology, rheumatology, rehabilitation and geriatric medicine, orthopaedic surgery as well as general medicine.
An outstanding faculty of experts will present the latest updates in bone and mineral medicine. The seminar will be offered over 2 half-days and cover a wide range of themes:
- Bone health in those under 50 years, update in primary ovarian insufficiency and menopausal hormone therapy
- Cancer and Bone Health
- Managing Complications of Bone Health Therapy: AFF and ONJ
- Hyper- and Hypo-parathyroidism including new treatments
- Imaging: TBS and Echolight
- Abaloparatide

Although targeted to specialists in training, this meeting is ideal for any specialist seeking an up-to-date revision in bone and mineral disorders. Physicians and allied health practitioners from several disciplines including endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology, rehabilitation and geriatric medicine, are invited to attend.
This meeting is also recognised by the RACP as a required CPD activity for Endocrine advanced physician trainees.
