Information on access to infusion centres for zoledronic acid
An initiative of the Clinical Practice Committee of the Australian New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society
Following the closure of a prominent nurse-led infusion program in Australia in 2022, access to infusion centres for the administration of zoledronic acid has been problematic. The Clinical Practice Committee has collated a list of providers of zoledronic acid infusions in Australia. The ANZBMS does not endorse or recommend specific infusion providers but is conducting this activity in the interest of improving access and awareness of infusion providers of zoledronic acid throughout Australia. Some, but not all public hospitals and general practitioners may provide this service but are not included here.
